Feeling anxious once in awhile is a completely normal human response. However, if this feeling starts dominating your life and hinders your daily activities, it can become a problem. Having anxiety can put you in a constant state of worry, fear and restlessness. Anxiety can also cause physiological changes in your body such as increase blood pressure, shortness of breath, headaches, etc.
Counselling will help you understand what triggers your anxiety, and, therefore, help manage it. It will also try to discover the underlying cause of it, which can allow you to confront it and release its grip on your life.
